I just was just at a night rehearsal for marching band. Here's how it happened; While we were marching, all of a sudden I got a bloody nose. So I ran off the field, and put my trumpet on a table on the track. I went to te bathroom, got my bloody nose taken care of, and then went back out. When I got back, someone told me that my trumpet fell off; apparently I didn't put it on the table well enough. I tried out all of the valves to make sure they were ok. The 1st and 3rd valves were fine, but the 2nd couldn't be pushed. So I tried getting it out, but it wouldn't budge. So I could only march the rest of the time. Thankfully, a friend of mine in the trumpet section said their parents were going to Albuquerque soon and they could get my trumpet fixed. Of course, my parents are going to pay them back afterwards. So for the next day or two, I'm going to have to use a school trumpet. :P At least nothing happened to my mouthpiece, so I'll be able to use it with the school trumpet.

I am now 14! I'm not going to be stereotyped anymore! WOOHOO!

There's this guy that I used to go to school with. We'll call him "Joe." I went to school with him most of last year, we were both in 8th grade. He's a Russian, but he lived in College Station, TX for a couple years before coming to my town. But the reason I'm saying he spent MOST of last year in my school is because he left near the end of the year, because his family was planning to live in Albuquerque, which is ~80 miles north of here. He just stayed here for a little while because his dad works at the college in my town. Anyway, he fucking pisses me off! He's in fucking CALCULUS now, whereas I'm only in advanced geometry (of course, we're both freshman). Also, he plays saxophone better than I play trumpet, and he's been playing it only half of the time I've played trumpet! He also skates, skis, and plays guitar in a band. He's fairly popular, too. I fucking hate him! I don't know why we used to be/are friends! I'm at least relieved that he doesn't live here anymore.

I'm sorry for any information that is misplaced in the rant.(mini-rant?)
